Microsoft Outlook Calendar with Call0Agreed on the phone. Entered in Outlook.
Your phone assistant creates the appointment you discussed as an event in your Outlook calendar, with subject, time and a note on the request.
Start without an account.
What your agent does during the call
Create a calendar event
The agent passes subject, start and end to Outlook. If the end is missing, one hour is assumed. What the caller says about the request appears in the body of the event.
How it sounds on the phone
- CallerHi, I’d like to go through the documents for my tax return.
- Call0Certainly. Annual reviews are scheduled on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. Which day suits you?
- CallerWednesday at ten would be good.
- Call0Wednesday, ten o’clock. May I have your name, and which number can we reach you on if anything changes?
- CallerMarkus Reuter, the number I’m calling from.
- Call0Thank you, Mr Reuter. I’ve entered the appointment in the calendar for Wednesday at ten.
Annual review created as an Outlook event
How to connect it
- Open your agent in the dashboard, go to “Integrations” and search for Microsoft Outlook.
- Choose “Connect” and sign in with the Microsoft account that owns the calendar.
- In the chat with Agent0 you define on which days and at which times the agent may confirm appointments.
At the end of setup you choose which actions your agent may use.
What the integration does not do
- For Outlook, the only standard action is creating an event. There is no free/busy query like the one for Google Calendar.
- So the agent works with the time windows you specify. A private appointment that falls into such a window goes unnoticed.
- Changing or cancelling events stays with your team.
Questions about Microsoft Outlook Calendar
Does Call0 check in Outlook whether I am available?
No, not with the standard action. The agent sticks to the time windows from setup. If it should query real free times, Google Calendar or Cal.com are the better fit.
Does this work with Microsoft 365 in a company?
The connection runs through the Microsoft sign-in. Whether your account may grant third-party applications access to the calendar is up to your administrators.
Do the appointments also show up in Teams?
The agent creates a calendar event, not a Teams meeting. You see it wherever your Outlook calendar is displayed.
