Jira with Call0The call becomes a Jira issue.

If your team works in Jira, nobody has to type up phone notes any more: the agent creates the issue in the right project.

What your agent does during the call

  • Create an issue

In the project whose key you specify, an issue is created with a one-line summary and a description taken from the call.

How it sounds on the phone

  1. CallerSince yesterday’s update we can no longer print delivery notes.
  2. Call0Thanks for reporting it. Which version are you on, and does an error message appear?
  3. CallerThe new one from Tuesday. It says: template not found.
  4. Call0Does that affect all workstations?
  5. CallerYes, everyone in dispatch.
  6. Call0I’ve created an issue: delivery note printing since the update, message “template not found”, all workstations in dispatch. Which company may I enter this for?

How to connect it

  1. Jira is listed under “Integrations” in your agent: select it and “Connect”.
  2. Sign in with your Atlassian account and authorise the Jira site.
  3. Give Agent0 the project key, for example SUP, and describe what a good summary looks like in your team.

At the end of setup you choose which actions your agent may use.

What the integration does not do

  • The issue is created with the default type and unassigned. Fields such as component or sprint stay empty.
  • The agent cannot comment, change a status or search existing issues.
  • Required fields your project enforces in addition cause creation to fail. The agent then takes a callback.

Questions about Jira

Does this also work with Jira Service Management?

The agent creates an issue in a Jira project. Whether that is a service project is your choice through the project key. It does not use customer portal features.

Can the agent serve several projects?

Yes, if you tell it which request belongs in which project. It needs the key for each of them.

Is the caller on the issue?

In the description, with name, company and callback number. The caller is not created as a Jira user.

Listen to your agent.
