Google Sheets with Call0Every call a row in your spreadsheet.

Many businesses and clubs keep their list in Google Sheets. The agent enters there what it takes down on the phone.

What your agent does during the call

  • Append a row

A new row is added at the end of the sheet. The values come in the order of your columns, for example date, name, phone, request.

How it sounds on the phone

  1. CallerI’d like to sign my son up for the football camp in the Easter holidays.
  2. Call0Lovely. What is your son called, and how old is he?
  3. CallerLuis Kramer, nine years old.
  4. Call0Thank you. Is he already a member of the club?
  5. CallerYes, in the under-elevens.
  6. Call0I’ve put Luis down for the Easter camp. On which number can we reach you in case anything changes?

New row: date · Luis Kramer · 9 · member · Easter camp

How to connect it

  1. Connect Google Sheets via “Integrations” and choose the Google account that owns the spreadsheet.
  2. Create or open the spreadsheet and prepare a header row with your columns.
  3. Give Agent0 the spreadsheet ID from the address bar and the order of the columns.

At the end of setup you choose which actions your agent may use.

What the integration does not do

  • The agent appends; it does not read. It cannot tell from the sheet whether a place is still available.
  • It does not change or delete existing rows.
  • If the order of the values does not match the columns, something ends up in the wrong field. A test call shows that immediately.

Questions about Google Sheets

Where do I find the spreadsheet ID?

In the address of the spreadsheet in your browser, between “/d/” and “/edit”. You enter this string during setup.

Can the agent write to a particular tab?

It appends to the spreadsheet you name. For separate lists, separate spreadsheets are the most reliable way.

Is this enough in place of a CRM?

For sign-up lists, callbacks or waiting lists, often yes. As soon as you want to maintain contacts over a longer period, a CRM fits better.
