What your agent does during the call
Read event types
The agent retrieves the event types you have set up in Cal.com and works only with those.
Query free slots
For the chosen event type it fetches the times that are really free, with your buffers and availability from Cal.com.
Create a booking
After confirmation it books the slot with the caller’s name and email address.
Reschedule a booking
It moves a clearly identified booking to a new free slot.
Cancel a booking
A cancellation only happens when the caller explicitly confirms it.

How to connect it
- Under “Integrations” in your agent, select Cal.com and click “Connect”.
- Confirm access to your Cal.com account. Event types, durations and availability stay where you already maintain them.
- Agent0 asks which event types the agent should offer and writes that into its instructions.
At the end of setup you choose which actions your agent may use.
What the integration does not do
- Cal.com does not book without the caller’s email address. That is why the agent spells it back.
- If an event type requires your approval, the agent says so and does not present the request as a fixed appointment.
- It does not reschedule or cancel a booking it cannot identify beyond doubt.
Questions about Cal.com
How does the agent know my free times?
From Cal.com itself. It queries the slots for the event type instead of calculating them from a calendar. Buffers, minimum notice and daily limits therefore apply on the phone as well.
Can a caller cancel an appointment by phone?
Yes, if the booking is found beyond doubt and the caller explicitly confirms the cancellation. The agent records a reason when the caller gives one.
Does this also work with Calendly?
For Calendly the agent can only read your event types, not book. If you want to hand out real appointments on the phone, Cal.com or a directly connected calendar serves you better.
