How to connect it
- You do not connect Gmail under “Integrations” but in the dashboard under “Channels”, as an email mailbox.
- Sign in there with the Google account whose address the emails should come from.
- Agent0 asks when the agent should offer an email on the phone and how the confirmation should read.
What the integration does not do
- The email consists of subject and text. The agent does not attach files such as a menu or a PDF.
- Whether the address is right depends on the spelling. The agent repeats it before sending.
- Incoming emails are answered by the email assistant, not by the phone agent during a call.
